Delhi Chalo...
Well it really isn't my fault either...
The last couple of weeks have been really really hectic so i don't really get much time to post...with all the tests and assignments i've been completly dazed...
I mean the other day it was my friend's b'day so i'm eating breakfast with him and i'm like
'Dude, u shouldn't attend classes today, it's ur b'day for god's sake!'
and he's like,
'Dude, it's sunday...'
and i'm like,
'Crap dude, you're right...'
I mean when it comes to the point that you can barely remember what day of the week it is, that's clearly a bad sign...
Ok, what else, ah yes..
So yesterday i was sitting in my common room waiting for the 'Lost' episode to start and we're watching BBC to pass time...All of a sudden they show Aishwariya Rai and Saif Ali Khan and a cpl of others perfoming somewhere...and im like 'what the hell??'
Apparently it was the closing ceremony of the Commonwealth games and because the next games are being held in Delhi, these guys were performing to some wierd song called 'Delhi Chalo' (hence the title)...
All these other guys are looking at me since im the only brown guy there and I start to explain who's who and what theyre famous for and how many miss world's and miss universe's we have and yada yada yada...
So anyways the 'Lost' episode begins and that ends there....
Ok, what else, yea a cpl of months back we took this house photograph so i thought id post it up here (yea i know i posted one before, this is different)...Try to decode what were trying to spell out:
First one to get it right, gets a treat...
Till then,
Take care...

NBS.. as in Newbies?
Well u are close... but not right..
Its not NBS...
NR 5?
Since you're in New College Residence and you're on the 5th floor?
It's not NR5...
Ur explanation is close though...
Yup... It's NB5..
eh?
What does NB 5 stand for?
I said i would give a treat to whoever decodes the message, not just read what was spelt out...
Anyways it is NB5 and that stands for New Building Floor 5. Now don't ask me why our building is called New Building...It's a loong storey (get it?)
Well UofT can't come up with proper names for colleges or residences for sure..
New Residence, New College..
UofT architect: "We've finally built it.. so what do we call this new college? "
UofT genius: "NEW COLLEGE!!!"
No, actually the primary contributor to the building of the college was a certain Jonathan New. And thus 'New College...
That's how most buildings around here are named anyways...
Hey Avi.. lets have a baby
