Hello everybody!

Long time eh? Yes, I know I haven't been as frequently posting on the blog as I usually do, but I've been a little busy, and, well, to tell you the truth, I didn't have anything particularly interesting to post.

So, how is everybody? First off, let me welcome Fahad to our beloved Blog. Nice to have you on board buddy!

Shahlan, I couldn't believe you remembered that 'Hey man, why so glum?' dialogue after all this time! I had forgotten it myself! Ah, the memories, eh?

Us people here in Canada have been in touch pretty frequently. Avi and I went over to Faisal and Loki's place some time back, and had good time. We guys saw the new Harry Potter movie too, in case you are wondering. Avi and Faisal didn't like it; I however, thought it was not that bad. As a movie it seems to work, but if you compare it to the book, then obviously, it's not as good.

What else? Hopefully everybody is happy and doing whatever it is they are doing. It was nice to hear Abeera talk about how weird it felt to enter Dubai Gem as an ex-student. I felt the same way last year. It felt even weirder for me as you people were still in school. I kept wondering, 'I should be in class, what am I doing?’

But that's in the past now.

Ambreen, haven't been in touch with you for a while now, so I'm hoping you're okay. Judging by your comment on Fahad's post, I'm assuming you're good. Nice to know that you are going to be in Dubai for the winter.

Speaking of that, I won't be able to make it to Dubai this winter, and neither will Faisal, to the best of my knowledge. I think Avi will be in town for a couple of days, but then he leaves for Bombay.

As for me, well, I shall spend Christmas and New Year's here, hopefully with Faisal! We'll be giving each other company, so that we don't get too homesick. At least, that's the plan for now!

Ebaad! Where are you man? We even wished you for your birthday, but you didn't seem to show. I can only guess you're having a blast that you've got no time for old friends! Just the occasional 'Hello' is all I ask!

Ahmed! You're another one! You hibernate for months at a time, and then show up all of a sudden! Please try and be a little more frequent! Will you be going to Dubai for the winter? If you are, good for you!

By the way Fahad, I appreciate the fact that you like my nicks; however I must confess, they aren't original! I get them off the net!

We're having elections in on 23rd January, and I'm talking National Elections, in case anybody's interested in Canadian politics.

Winter has pretty much set in. Temperatures hover around the 0 degrees mark. My exams, along with everybody else’s I suspect, will start this week. Best of luck to all of you guys!
